Welcome to Partisky Show Dogs. A small UK based kennel in the Midlands. Partisky is the kennel name of Simon Whincup, and is home to American Cocker Spaniels and Skye Terriers. American Cocker Spaniels are owned in partnership with Fran Glendinning of Plaiglen Kennels. The American Cocker kennel is built on the creme de la creme of the bloodlines available in the world, predominantly our parti colour lines are built on Very Vigie and PBJ breeding. Our black lines built on the infamous Sweethearts Space Jam and Silverhall lines, as well as some Russian influence in our bitch line.
The Skye terrier kennel is built on the foundations of Feorlig and Finnsky Kennels, with health and well being off our dogs being our priority. More recently we have added the Gleanntan kennel from the USA breeding into our kennel, and we are delighted with temperaments etc from that breeding. We pride ourselves that our skyes are full of character and great temperaments. We are home to a handful of champions, and lightly breed with our priority being to breed for our own show prospects and not on a commercial basis.
Health is our number one priority, and whilst some are prepared to breed lines which they know have health issues, we are not!. We regularly test for eye conditions, most of our dogs are bred from dogs which are hip scored and patella scored, and we are now commencing a routine of DNA testing for health conditions.
